The staff was friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. I got in earlier than expected and my room wasn’t ready but they took my stuff and set it aside for me so I could go explore the town and enjoy the beach. Good dinner recommendations. Also, very good at reading people and making conversation. I am not a morning person, so when they smiled and said good morning to me and didn’t pry and I was being a grump, it was really nice for me. Sometimes I feel guilty about not being much of a morning person but they were so good at smiling and waving and saying hello. Waited till I was ready to chat about my stay. It was perfect. One of the people carried up my bags for me (I have a bad back and didn’t even have to say that). I think maybe he was just being nice because I accidentally got there early, but also it seemed like he offers that frequently. Check in was a breeze. The room was cozy, warm, and comforting. Had a corkscrew ready to go. I really was able to relax which is not something that comes easy to me. The bed was comfy. I honestly didn’t want to leave my room.

This hotel owns property that spans a couple blocks. You check in then they give you a map where to drive. It’s the cutest cottages and it reminds me of New England. We stayed in the Court yard cottage. When you drive in there is ample parking, it is quiet and charming. There is a literal court yard in the center that you walk thru to get to your room. There is a movie room next door to our room that the family can use to enjoy a big screen movie! Our room was awesome! High up beds that were so comfortable, a fireplace, and a patio! Also a mini kitchen. This place exceeded my expectations! The staff was so nice! And the walk to the beach is so easy! This cottage was right in the center of the action we could walk to Pelican Brewery! Also the sleepy monk Coffee is right by the resort! Amazing! We will definitely return!

Great rustic room. We stayed in a Lewis room at their Hearthstone lodge location. Value was great. Had a small kitchenette. Fireplace was nice for the evening. Shower pressure was great. Comfortable bed. The floor was not super clean but not visibly dirty, mostly just noticed when walking barefoot. One of the lamps in the bedroom had a broken turn switch so was unable to turn on. The additional bedding for the sofa had dog hair on it but perhaps was put away by previous tenants and not noticed by house keeping staff. Overall though, had a wo derful stay and would definitely stay again.

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great shower. I liked the basics that were in the kitchenette, two of each for dish ware and utensils was perfect and kept down clutter. Nice, quiet street. Short walk to the beach and a few shops. Being able to check out at 11 was nice, we didn’t feel rushed. It was a good value for the money.

The hotel was very close to the public entry to Haystack Rock, which made walking easy for my family. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my family and to help ship forgotten items after we were out of state. We can’t say enough great things about the hotel, their staff, and the Cannon Beach area.
